Terming as the gigantic film ever made in Indian film Industry,
Master craftsman Shankar’s Vikram starrer magnum opus ‘I’ was all set to
release on this January 14th worldwide and that too in as many 25000
screens . The whole team is busy with the promotion and 2 days back
Vikram himself came to Cochin for I promotion and it created so much
buzz in the town. But the film has landed in some kind of trouble
yesterday with the order of Madras high court which put a stay on the
release of the film till January 30th.
The case was given against
the film and its production banner by Pixar studios asking for the
return of 19 crores loan Aascar Ravichandran had taken from them. Aascar
Ravichandran is produced this big budget film under the banner of
Aascar films. According to the reports, the team behind film really
wants to release it on the Pongal festival week as the film had already
postponed its release two times before. According to reports, there will
be a meeting of team ‘I’ and officials of Pixar studios , today at 7 pm
to sort out the issues and the team ‘I’ is very much confident about
solving the issue today itself and release the film as per planned
earlier.
The film lovers are waiting for the film from the very
first day of its announcement and the team ‘I’ had already tested their
patients by postponing the release dates two times earlier last year.
The film is in the news for its subject, the suspense it has in store
and also for the gigantic proportions in which the film is been made.
People from Kerala also waiting for this film for some special reasons.
One
is that there is a huge fan following for Vikram in Kerala as he acted
in many Malayalam films before he went to Tamil and became a big star
there. And the most special reason they have is that Mollywood super
star Suresh Gopi is playing a prominent role in the film and still it’s a
suspense that how important is Suresh Gopi’s character in this movie.
Anyway Fingers crossed for today’s meeting at 7PM
